If you're a consumer in Canada, it's safe to say you've seen Ronnie's work.
A creative professional for over 40 advertising agencies and design studios, and 1000+ personal clients
Ronnie Lebow spent the majority of his young life in the principal's office for daydreaming, sharing out-of-the-box random thoughts, and drawing all over his desk.
These skills gained him admission to OCAD University and helped launch his career as an Art Director and Copywriter at several Toronto advertising agencies, where he created everything from logos to television commercials for some of the world's most prestigious brands (Please see Resumé).
In 2001 he switched from agency life to the client-side after being offered the first in-house Creative Director's position at Panasonic Canada, and designed and created all of the B2B and B2C communication materials nationwide for the next 5 years. Upon leaving, he continued to work on a steady stream of freelance projects for Panasonic for an additional 12 years.
In 2016, Ronnie left the freelance life after accepting the Creative Director's position at the Canadian office of Publicitas International, the world's leading media representation company (which became NewBase and most recently, Hatch64). There, he specialized in pitching and creating large international Programmatic advertising campaigns.
In 2018, he once again made the move back to freelancing full-time so he could service multiple agencies and many ongoing personal clients from his own office. This is where you will find him today.
Ronnie has won a slew of international awards in both advertising and design, his work is featured in books, and he has also received recognition for his photography and illustration work.
Ronnie appeared as the featured subject in the advertising and design episode of “Career Moves”, a nationwide television series, and in 2018, he was honoured with the role of 'Master of Ceremonies' at the COPAs (Canadian Online Publishing Awards).
An accomplished writer, he published a very well-received industry blog (outlining the trials and tribulations of freelance life), his articles have graced both magazines and numerous websites, and his work has been included in more than one University’s curriculum.
When he's not working, Ronnie likes to paint and is an avid fisherman, experienced outdoorsman and
wilderness canoe tripper. He plays poker annually at the WSOP, and also dedicates his time and creativity to a few non-profit organizations.
